Jessica Wright - Hyder Immigration Lawyer

I chose immigration law because it is equal parts challenging and rewarding. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with clients from all corners of our globe.

Jessica N. Wright

Jessica N. Wright joined Hyder Immigration Law as an associate attorney in 2017 after earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. During law school, Ms. Wright participated in the Pro Bono Immigration Clinic and the Education Rights Clinic. She was honored with the Public Interest Law Association’s Pro Bono award upon graduation.

Ms. Wright is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association. She is admitted to the Virginia Bar. Prior to law school, Ms. Wright earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.

She is a member of Richmond’s Clean City Commission, Alpha Phi Omega alumni association and also volunteers with the Richmond Animal League. Ms. Wright currently resides in Richmond, Virginia and enjoys cycling, hiking, writing and traveling. She biked the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago and plans to complete more solo cycling trips in the future.
